Tree Plantation
What We Do
At Aarav Charitable Trust, our Tree Plantation program is dedicated to restoring green cover, improving air quality, and creating healthier communities. We believe that every sapling planted is an investment in our planet’s future for clean air, biodiversity, and climate resilience.
Why It Matters
- Trees absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, helping fight climate change.
- They reduce air pollution, provide shade and cool the environment, especially in urban areas.
- Roots of trees help prevent soil erosion, support groundwater recharge, and maintain soil fertility.
- Trees serve as habitat for birds, insects, and wildlife, enhancing biodiversity.
- Green spaces contribute to mental well-being, community cohesion and beauty.
Our Goals
- Plant [500+] of native saplings in city and rural areas .
- Increase survival rate of planted trees through regular care and watering.
- Engage schools, local communities, and volunteers in plantation drives & maintenance.
- Identify and convert vacant lots/open spaces into small urban forests or green belts.
- Promote awareness about tree conservation and sustainable forestry.
